Dr. Najma Dharani coordinated the planting once more and Dr. Mark Nicholson (Brackenhurst Botanic Garden, Limuru) brought in 134 rare and indigenous shrubs and did the tree labelling. Vishy Talwar, of the Flowered Earth Ltd & Vice-Chair of the Kenya Horticulture Society donated 30 red or pink Pentas lanceolata while Sheela Shah of the Really Useful Landscape Company and Shilpa Chandaria donated several aloes, euphorbias and other indigenous shrubs. Sally Shaw, Julia Glen, Philip Drost, Angela Waki & Jessica Paul, Kenya Horticulture Society members contributed financially towards this second phase of beautification of the reclaimed land at the entrance of Nairobi City Park.  Baldip led the team and was assisted by Moses Kamaliki & Benard Koros of FoCP. The County staff brought in a truck load of red soil and manure, assisted in the tree planting as well as installation of the steel gate and chain link. FoCP is most appreciative of all contributions and great teamwork shown by all!
