Concert at City Park with the Salvation Army

To celebrate Kenya’s 50th anniversary of independence, and get you into the Christmas spirit come to the concert at City Park.
The concert will be at the City Park bandstand on 12th of December starting 2.30 to 4.30 pm.

You will be entertained by the Salvation Army band playing Kenyan music and Christmas carols.

Speaker: Alia Khan- BSc (Hons) , MLA, Landscape Architect University of Sheffield

For her Masters course, Alia Khan chose Nairobi City Park for her project as it was an ecological and recreational gem in the heart of Nairobi. The potential opportunities for the rehabilitation of the park are endless. She produced an ecological and holistic design for the rehabilitation of City Park. She also designed a Management Plan for the park which would help ensure that City Park becomes an important place for current and future generations.

Boscowen clean-up and planting

Come and help us extend the pollinator garden, and get some planting done before the short rains begin in Nairobi this October. Bring gloves and drinking water.  Contact us to sign up.

Nai ni who Festival – events at City Park

On Saturday: From 11:30 a.m. Performances by dancers, bands, acrobats, drummers, Mural Painting on boards by everyone from the hood at City Park. Also a cultural show and art exhibition by Mehal Patel.
Sunday is a Family Fun Day: 
noon: Dudu walk by Ian Gordon, an entomologist who specialises in breeding butterflies
1 p.m. Nature walk by Nature Kenya
1:30 p.m. Painting and drawing activities with kids
2 p.m. Tree walk by Najma Dharani, who has written 4 books on trees
